Tips for Using Services Portal

What is the Services Portal?

The Services Portal is your one-stop resource for accessing all services offered by various Departments and self-help guides at Westcliff University. It's divided into two key sections:

  • Service Catalog: Quickly submit tickets such as resetting My.Westcliff password, wireless network, or accessing applications. Available to all students, faculty, and staff.
  • Knowledge Base: Find many of how-to and FAQ articles to resolve common issues without needing to contact a staff member.

With so many resources available, here are some tips to help you navigate the Services Portal more effectively.

Use the Search Box

Instead of browsing through a list of Departments to find your information, try the search box in the upper-right corner.

  • Enter keywords such as "forget password" or "GAP" for quick results.
  • Click the Global Icon in the search bar to filter your search between Services and Knowledge Base content.

Tip: You will see more service options if you are signed in, as some are only visible to specific groups. You will know you are signed in if you see your name in the top right corner!

Favorite Services or Articles that You Use Frequently

Easily access frequently used resources:

  • Click Add to Favorites (visible when you are signed in) on any service or article.
  • To access your favorite services, click on My Favorites under Services.
  • To access your favorite articles, click on My Favorites under Knowledge Base.

Check the Status of Your Tickets Online

Track your ticket anytime. To check the status of your tickets, navigate to the Services Portal Home page and click on View Your Tickets button.
