Google Calendar - How to Setup Appointment Schedule

Overview

Google Calendar Appointment Schedules allow students, faculty, and staff to share their availability via a booking page, so others in the community can schedule time with them.

Instructions

 

Step 1: Open Google Calendar and click on the '+ Create' button, then select 'Appointment schedule'.

Step 2: Enter appointment duration and set your general availability (e.g., 30 minutes, repeat weekly).

Step 3: Set your scheduling window, including how far in advance appointments can be booked.

Step 4: Configure booked appointment settings such as buffer time, max bookings per day, and guest permissions. Then click 'Next'.

Step 5: Select how and where to meet (Google Meet, in-person, or phone call).

Step 6: Customize your booking form by adding required fields like first name, last name, and email address.

Step 7: Configure booking confirmations and reminders. You can enable email reminders and calendar invitations. Then click 'Save'.

Step 8: Once saved, copy the appointment booking link to share with others or preview your booking page.
