Grades & Grading Policy
Grades & Grading Policy
Where can I see my grades?
For active courses, grades are available on GAP along with any feedback from Professors. After a course is complete, students can see final grades on Student First portal.
How do I appeal/change my grade?
Students have 3 days from when grades are posted in Student First portal to reach out to their professor to request for a grade change if they feel that the grade is incorrect. If the professor agrees to what the student is requesting, the professor has 3 days to submit a grade change.
If the professor does not respond back to the student or does not agree that the grade should be changed, the student can now start the grade appeal process. To begin this process, students can complete this
Grade Appeal Form
including any evidence that they have to support their claim (such as emails or screenshots) as well as a personal statement explaining their claim. The request can then be reviewed, and if approved, the student’s grade can be adjusted.
