Access the assignment from your course page in GAP using the pop-up window. Copy the link in the SM assignment instructions in GAP. No login required. Access the assignment only through GAP using the pop-up and the provided link.
Important reminders
Your professor is your first point of contact for all Socratic Metric questions. If additional support is needed, your professor will contact the Socratic Metric mentors on your behalf. For late assignments or extension requests, only your professor can approve and apply an extension. Please contact your professor directly.
Correct Access Process (most common issue)
Students must follow this exact process:

Copy the link in the SM assignment instructions in GAP

Open the Socratic Metric pop-up window

Paste the link into the pop-up

Begin the assignment
Do not:

Click the link directly

Paste the link into a browser address bar

Log in to any Socratic Metric portal

Open multiple pop-up windows or tabs (Only one instance should be open)
These actions will often cause errors.

After completing all steps above, contact your professor and share what you tried and what is still happening. You may also record a short video showing your attempt and send it to your professor.
Your professor will review and, if needed, escalate it on your behalf.
